Acrylic Paintings

On Canvas

Paint is applied to stretched canvas with brushes, fingers and hands.  Sometimes, charcoal or graphite is added.  The painted image continue around the sides of the stretcher, so no framing is necessary.  This technique is called “Gallery Wrapped”.

On Paper

Paint is applied to heavy, print paper with brushes, fingers and hands.  Sometimes charcoal or graphite is added.  These paintings should be mounted or framed.

On Paper - Mounted on Black Canvas

These pieces do not need framing.  The black edge of the canvas creates a minimal frame.
